This dehumidifier is cordless and requires no batteries to operate. It uses silica gel to absorb moisture. The silica gel can be renewed again and again for up to 10 years. To operate, first plug the unit into a wall outlet for 24 hours. Next disconnect the unit from the wall outlet and place it inside a safe or or virtually any small space where you would like to reduce the humidity level. The unit will silently work to reduce the humidity level by using silica gel crystals inside the unit to absorb moisture. When the indicator light turns pink, it's time to recharge the unit. Simply plug the unit into a wall outlet to dispel the moisture that has accumulated.
