The CL-80 is a stand-alone digital keypad for access control applications. This weather-resistant (in accordance with IP54) unit is suitable for outdoor and indoor use. The keypad operates from a 12/24 V AC or DC power supply and has a built-in, high-powered relay. With this keypad you can have up to 56 individual access codes ranging from one to eight digits. Authorized users can be given specific codes for use in different access control applications such as arming or disarming alarm systems. If three consecutive invalid codes are punched into the keypad it will automatically enter into a 30 second lock-down mode to prevent unauthorized entry. The CL-80 keypad can also be integrated with an alarm system for enhanced security. If an attempt should be made to open or remove the unit from the wall the tamper switch can then trigger the alarm system. The CL-80 also has a panic output that can activate the alarm in case of panic or if under duress. A special code can also be assigned to an auxiliary output to be used for either arming or disarming the alarm system or to activate an alarm or any other applicable system. The keypad contains an EEPROM with which data is entered into and stored so that power failures do not affect stored data. Programming of this device can only be carried out by those who are "master code" holders for the unit.
