The Master Lock aluminum lockout/tagout padlock has a solid aluminum body that is corrosion-resistant; functions in temperatures from -35 to 350 degrees F; and has a keyed different 5-pin tumbler cylinder that provides a high security level (10,000 key codes). It has a UV-stabilized powder coated finish that resists corrosion and fading to retain high visibility. Its steel shackle is hardened with boron, has a 1-9/16" (39.7 mm) vertical shackle clearance for extra length, and is plated to resist corrosion. This padlock is part of a lockout/tagout (LOTO) safety procedure required at facilities where a device or energy source needs to be isolated during maintenance and repair.
