Precision "O" ring seal on shackle-way resists water and dirt intrusion. Case hardened steel shackle protects against sawing and cutting. Exposed portion of shackle is coated with protective black thermoplastic for maximum weather resistance. Precision engineered double locking mechanism on both shackles provides added security and strength. Padlock body constructed of laminated riveted plate steel for maximum strength. Protective bumper surrounds padlock to cushion impacts and prevent damage to doors and painted surfaces. Thermoplastic keyway cover seals out moisture, dirt and debris. Brass pin cylinder resists picking, provides long life and smooth operation. Each Guard Security padlock is individually tested at the factory to ensure smooth performance before packaging.
