The safe has been independently verified to protect electronic media such as memory drives, CDs, DVDs, and external hard drives in a fire. Constructed of durable resin, this safe sports 6 steel locking door bolts and concealed, pry-resistant Delta hingesTM to deter thieves. (When hinges are flush with the surface of the safe door, it is more difficult for a potential thief to insert tools and prying gadgets at door hinge.) The 2096F-BD also comes equipped with a pre-set four-digit combination lock to keep your belongings secure. The lock is simple to set up and operate. Emergency override keys (2 included) enable you to open the safe without entering the combination--ensuring that you have access to your valuables, even if the combination is forgotten. Or, you can have someone enter the safe with your permission and an override key without giving away your private combination.
